Description
Each potion holster is handmade from 4-5oz vegetable tanned leather. Holsters are hand cut, dyed, burnished, and oiled, and affixed with double cap rivets and a two sturdy, Line 20 snaps. Snap and rivet color will be either antique brass or antique nickel. Holster loops will fit over standard belts up to 2″ wide. Leather holsters are kept in stock and are ready to ship based on color availability.
Potion vials are ** HANDMADE TO ORDER in 2-5 business days. ** Please allow up to five days for me to cast your requested potion colors, an additional day to pack and ship your order, and 3-7 business days for shipping via USPS. If you have a specific deadline, please email me to check my current project schedule. I will do my best to accommodate any reasonable timeline.
“Bottomless potions” are handmade with a dyed, translucent resin, swirled with a darker accent color to create a suspended “swirl,” and the illusion of being filled with liquid. These are then placed in a pressure pot while curing to remove bubbles and imperfections. Resin will not spill out or evaporate, hence the term “bottomless!” Darker colored swirls will remain permanently suspended in the cast resin for the life of the potion vial.
Potion Vials are real glass tubes with a rounded bottom and removable cork. Since vial bottoms are round, they do not stand up on their own, and require the leather holster or desktop stand to display. Each leather holster comes with two (2) “bottomless” potions in your choice of colors. Plastic vials are available upon request, and are recommended if this product will be worn by children aged 12 and under. Please leave an “Order note” when checking out to request plastic tubes.
Potion tubes will come placed in your leather holster when shipped. While I do my best to ensure the leather potion strap is tight, I do recommended gluing your potion vials in place using a two-part epoxy to prevent tubes from slipping out of the holster while wearing. I can epoxy your potion vials into the leather upon request. Please leave me an “Order note” when checking out to request your tubes be glued into the leather. * Please note glue may fail after several wears! * I recommend checking the glue each time to wear your holster to avoid losing potion tubes.

Potion Holster Styles Explained
Leather Color Options:
Leather holsters are available in Black, Dark Brown, or Light Brown. Snap and rivet color will be either antique brass or antique nickel. If you are looking for a specific snap color, please include a note when placing your order and I will do my best to accommodate your request. I may not be able to match your requested rivet color based on my current stock.
Potion Colors:
Red: Medium red, translucent base color with slight sparkle. Darker red-purple swirl. Potion could act as a classic “healing” potion or perhaps a “vial of blood.”
Neon Yellow: Neon yellow translucent base color. Neon Orange swirl. Will glow bright under black light! Potion could act as a “explosive” potion, a vial of burning “chimera spit,” or a sinister alchemists’ secretive concoction.
Neon Green: Neon Yellow-Green translucent base color. Medium neon green swirl. Will glow bright under black light! Potion could act as highly corrosive “acid,” a “toxic sludge,” a potent “poison,” or a plague doctor’s virus tonic.
Green: Medium-green translucent base color with slight sparkle. Darker green swirl. Potion could act as a classic “stamina” potion, or perhaps a Druid’s fauna-growing elixir.
Blue: Neon blue translucent base color with a slight sparkle. Darker blue swirl. Will give off a slight glow under black light. Potion could act as a classic “magicka” restoration potion, a fairy tonic for flight, or as a draught of water breathing.
Purple: Neon purple and blue translucent base color with a slight sparkle. Darker purple swirl. Will give off a slight glow under black light. Potion could act as a classic “rejuvenation” potion, a potion to enhance your magical abilities, or a philter of mind reading.
Pink: Neon pink base color with a slight sparkle. Dark purple swirl. Will glow bright under black light! Potion could act as a “luck” potion, love potion, or a mysterious fast-acting poison.
Clear/Black: Glass clear base color that sparkles in the sun. Opaque black swirl. Potion can act as an “invisibility” potion, a trapped demon, suspended “squid ink,” or even as a plague doctor’s mysterious restorative.
Given the handmade nature of this item, there may be slight variations to leather size, texture, and color. Bottomless potions may have slight imperfections such as small air bubbles or a bit of air trapped between the glass and resin.
